Firewood Notice: Firewood is not allowed on Wisconsin State Park or Forest properties from out of state or from more than fifty miles away from the property you are going to. Also, firewood that has been in the Wisconsin Emerald Ash Borer quarantined area http://www.emeraldashborer.wi.gov/pdf/Wisconsin Emerald Ash Borer quarantined area.pdf is not allowed on properties outside of the quarantined area. Please buy firewood nearby or at the property you are going to. Call the DNR toll-free Firewood Hotline 1-877-303-WOOD (9663) for information before packing up for a trip. Reservations:

Campground is 1st come / 1st served when not on reservations.

There are 2 other campgrounds (Pigeon Creek, open year round and East Fork, open from April to December.) All sites are first come, first served.

A permit for backpacking is required.

Vehicle admission stickers are required.Click here for cost of the sticker. Reservations cannot be cancelled online.

From I-94, take Black River Falls Exit 116, Hwy 54. Drive to the second set of traffic lights. Turn left (south) onto Hwy 12/27. Then turn left (east) onto Hwy 12. The campground is located approximately one mile east on Hwy 12.
