Firewood Notice: Firewood is not allowed on Wisconsin State Park or Forest properties from out of state or from more than fifty miles away from the property you are going to.
Also, firewood that has been in the Wisconsin EAB quarantined area is not allowed on properties outside of the quarantined area. Please buy firewood nearby or at the property you are going to. Call the DNR toll-free Firewood Hotline 1-877-303-WOOD (9663) for information before packing up for a trip.

The family campground will not be open in the winter - closes December 1 through March 31, 2010. The shower buildings and dump water station are closed during the winter months due to freezing temperatures; some pit toilets are open.

All other sites are closed to camping when not on reservations.

    For group camping, wheeled campers and vehicles must remain on the black top parking area. Tents may camp on grass and in the woods up to the yellow posts.

    Vehicle admission stickers are required.Click here for cost of the sticker. Reservations cannot be cancelled online.

    1. Head east on Main St./USH 10 toward Park Ridge Dr./US-10. Continue to follow USH 10.
    2. Turn right to merge onto I-39/US 51-S.
    3. Take exit 151 for US-51 Business/54 toward Wisc. Rapids/Waupaca.
    4. Turn left at the stop sign and follow STH 54 towards Waupaca (approx. 20 miles).
    5. Turn right at Hartman Creek Road off STH 54. (There is a large brown and white state park sign on STH 54, showing you where to turn.) Follow Hartman Creek Rd. into the park, approximately 1.5 miles.
