POTAWATOMI STATE PARK, WIStatus: Open year round. Max reservation window: Wed Oct 20 2010 DescriptionLocated on Sturgeon Bay, Potawatomi has gently rolling upland terrain bordered by steep slopes and rugged limestone cliffs along two and a half miles of Sturgeon Bay shoreline. A 75-foot observation tower rises above the forest canopy, giving a panoramic view of Sawyer Harbor. On a clear day, the view from the park's observation tower reaches 16 miles across Green Bay. The Park features summer and winter activities, with hiking / biking trails, boat launch accessible fishing pier and a cabin for people with disabilities (ADA accessible).Services & Amenities:
Alerts and Important InformationThe shower building and dump station are generally open for the season by the first weekend in May; they are closed for the winter around mid-October.
