Firewood Notice: As of June 1, 2014, firewood is not allowed on Wisconsin State Park, Trail or Forest properties from more than 10 miles away from the destination campground.
In addition, firewood that has been in an EAB quarantined area is not allowed on properties outside of the quarantined area. Please buy firewood nearby or at the property you are going to. Call the DNR toll-free Firewood Information Line 1-877-303-WOOD (9663) for information before packing for a trip.

High bluffs and cobblestone shoreline, an 1860's lighthouse, a challenging 18-hole golf course, a professional summer theater, a sandy swimming beach, bike trails and a year-round Naturalist program make this 3,776-acre park extremely popular. All sites are within a five minute walk to the shoreline.

  • This park has a two motor vehicle limit per campsite. Additional vehicles must be parked in the overflow parking areas. Vehicle admission stickers are required.Click here for the cost of the sticker.
  • Dates Campgrounds are available for reservations:
    Tennison Bay 5/1 through 10/31/2015
    Weborg 5/8 through 10/17/2015
    South Nicolet Bay 5/15 through 10/17/2015
    North Nicolet Bay 5/21 through 10/11/2015
    Welckers 5/21 through 10/11/2015
    Tennison Bay is open Nov 1 - April 30 on first-come-first-serve basis. At least six campsites are plowed during the winter.

    Showers, flush toilet buildings open approximately May 1, 2015.
    Shower, flush toilet buildings close approximately October 19, 2015.
    Dump Station opens approximately May 1, 2015.
    Dump Station closes approximately October 19, 2015.

    From Green Bay take Hwy 42/57 North. Once north of Sturgeon Bay remain on Hwy 42 North to Fish Creek. The park is located approximately 1 mile from the village limits. Turn left at the large entrance sign.
