Firewood Notice: Firewood is not allowed on Wisconsin State Park, Trail or Forest properties from more than 10 miles away from the destination campground, unless it is certified by WI DATCP. The certified wood has been processed to kill harmful pests and diseases they may have hidden inside.
In addition, firewood that has been in a Wisconsin EAB quarantined area is not allowed on properties outside of the quarantined area. Please buy firewood nearby or at the property you are going to. Call the DNR toll-free Firewood Hotline 1-877-303-WOOD (9663) for information before packing for a trip.

Find Campsites

Attention: Ash trees infested with emerald ash borer are being removed from this property. Ash trees are prone to dropping their branches once they are in decline, so the trees could become a safety concern. Because ash was a dominant tree in the campgrounds, campers will notice campsites are more open. Also, water levels have been reduced on Vern Wolf Lake while repairs are made to the impoundment. The lake will remain drawn down while dam safety officials inspect the impoundment and determine repair options.

Status: Open year round.
Max reservation window: Mon May 02 2016
