Firewood Notice: Firewood is not allowed on Wisconsin State Park, Trail or Forest properties from more than 10 miles away from the destination campground, unless it is certified by WI DATCP. The certified wood has been processed to kill harmful pests and diseases they may have hidden inside.
In addition, firewood that has been in a Wisconsin EAB quarantined area is not allowed on properties outside of the quarantined area. Please buy firewood nearby or at the property you are going to. Call the DNR toll-free Firewood Hotline 1-877-303-WOOD (9663) for information before packing for a trip.

Rocky Arbor State Park is a quiet and secluded escape amongst pines and sandstone bluffs. The park is located just 1-1/2 miles from the Wisconsin Dells.

Rocky Arbor is open from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend.
All facilities are open during this time.

  • There is no winter camping.
  • Campers should be aware that sites 66-82 are close to the interstate which carries significant traffic noise.
  • Vehicle admission stickers are required.Click here for cost of the sticker.
    Between early May and mid June for one day there will be aerial spraying for Gypsy Moths in the early morning hours, areas of the park may include the campground. The aerial spraying is not harmful to humans and visitors can go to website http://gypsymoth.wi.gov/ . Or they can call the 1800-642-MOTH info line or more information.
